Collection: Corvina
C orvina, the main grape of Valpolicella, appears to have been growing in Veronese vineyards for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. The first written reference to the grape or wine called 'Corvini' dates back to 1627, but the first description of the Corvina Veronese goes back to 1818. At that time, Pollini spoke of a 'Corvina... cultivated throughout the Valle Pulicella'.
