Collection: viognier

Viognier is a white grape variety that is mainly planted in the French Rhône Valley for viticulture . It is the only permitted grape on the steep and famous vineyards of Condrieu . Wine made from Viognier is characterized by its bouquet of soft fruit and flowers, low acidity, strength and it is almost always dry. This wine is usually drunk young. In the meantime, successes have already been achieved in making sweet “ Late Harvest ”.

This grape is also successfully planted elsewhere. It is gaining popularity in the Ardèche , but also in Languedoc-Roussillon . The grape thrives in Switzerland , but also outside Europe in Australia , California , Canada , Chile and New Zealand . It is also found to a lesser extent in Italy and Japan .
