Grape: 100% Nero d'Avola.
Intense red color. The bouquet is slightly spicy and fruity with notes of dried figs and ripened fruit. The finish is round and fruity with well-integrated tannins and notes of vanilla.
Domain
La Calla is dedicated to making wines from grapes grown in very warm climates. This ensures full and beautifully round wines.
Harvest
The grapes are harvested manually.
Vinification
The skins are left in the must for a longer period to extract aromas and the characteristic red color. The wine then matures in wooden barrels for 5 - 6 months.
Delicious
Good wine with roasted or grilled meat. Excellent with grilled game and hard cheeses.
