Domain
Haardt Castle, located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest and visible from afar, overlooks Haardt, one of the nine wine villages of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. The Müller-Catoir wine estate has been a family business since 1744. The continuation of this long tradition is a challenge and requires a lot of effort from the 9th generation. The family closely follows new developments and is open to new methods without throwing the old traditions overboard. Müller-Catoir invests a lot of time in its wines: just think of the countless tasks imposed by the rhythm of the seasons and which are carefully carried out by hand in the vineyards. This is followed by selective manual picking, slow fermentation and careful maturation in the cellar, waiting as long as possible before bottling. This is how the wines are created in the typical Müller-Catoir style, which are made 100% from the harvest from our own vineyards: very refined, with mineral notes and an elegant and unwavering unique character.
