The result is a full, balanced wine with an intense fruity character. The idea behind MAX LION is inspired by the ancient myth of Perseus and Medusa. The lion, like this wine, is the ultimate symbol of strength, but nothing can resist the pull of Medusa and so the lion is half-petrified.

Domain
Vignobles Vellas is a family business that started 4 generations ago in the heart of the Languedoc. Their vineyards, with an area of ​​120 hectares, are divided into 8 terroirs. In addition to their 5 own vineyards, the range is further supplemented by the strong partnerships they have with winemakers from the Languedoc, the Sud-Ouest, the Rhône Valley and Provence. In this way they offer wine from all areas of southern France. They attach great importance to respect for the land and the environment, which is why the majority of their vineyards are organic. At Vignobles Vellas, work in the vineyards is extremely important in order to be able to pick healthy grapes with optimal ripeness. This ensures rich and fruity red wine, concentrated and intense, but also aromatic and elegant rosé and white wine.
